I'm just talking about people who can go on stage and sing like a real human being.

The vocal style. It sounds like he swallowed a sheep.

But I still think he's a sleeper because girls might like him and it seems he can dance really well. I think he needs to work some dance moves in to distract from his singing, like Timberlake does.

He sings in this high, wanky voice because he is trying to sound like Justin Timberlake or Michael Jackson. He does an OK job at it but basically he isn't JT or MJ, he is Chris Richardson and he needs to be voted on by the public. This crap will get tiresome after a while. I do think he'll make the top 12, though.

Dude seriously, the guy has no clue what he is talking about. If his act was contrived and phony in any way he wouldn't be there. They dropped a dozen or so seriously decent male singers and let this guy through.

He is different. They let him through to see if America appreciates his uniqueness. Remember this show is all about what and who, will sell records. They haven't seen anyone like Richardson before so as long as he is decent (which he very much is) they were going to let him through.

I personally think he will go deep . . . but we will see what America thinks on Wednesday.

Justin Timberlake is an incredible singer. Did you hear him at the Grammys. He was hitting notes perfectly and it was a live performance.

In one song he sang at an unnaturally high pitch. He was trying to do a falsetto (the judges happened to be praising contestants for falsettos early last season, particularly Ace).

The other song was simply bizarre. Choppy. He was pronouncing each syllable abruptly like it was detached from the rest of the word.

Some young girls will really go for it because they will think he is being artistic, but everyone else will want to hear something that is actually enjoyable.

Last thing I am going to say about this. My goal in this early stage is to determine potential. My prediction will turn out to be true. This guy is going to get on stage and rock it out.

It will be interesting as we haven't seen much from many contestants.

But I think Mr Richardson will be performing in Las Vegas as a Justin Timberlake impersonator before long.
