Another poster referred to QJ as the "Hawaii hand." If you mucked this cards all year you would save enough money for a trip to Hawaii. Note that when the other posters talk about playing QJ, they are not mentioning the quality of the hand; they tend to talk about position, or I ALWAYS open-raise, etc. Yet the hand is EV+ PF. Humm... Close to the edge (of profitability?)

In LHE, I play 'em, no raise, absent a random "I gotta mix it up" event. I've learned to ditch 'em muy pronto if the flop misses. No 2nd shots.

I only raise QJ suited in clubs or spades.

I look at it the same way as raising 98s or 76s only to vary play in EP if there are people who are real observant
