2.) Is a lot different but I don't fold here like ever. Calling or raising is definiely better.

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought everybody agreed that coldcalling first in from the SB is a bad idea since we're giving BB way too good odds to come along. Is this wrong?

3.) Stop being results oriented

was the first thought that came to my mind... just because you lost these two pots does not mean you made an incorrect pre-flop decision... or post-flop for that matter...

a.) as someone said earlier, i tend to assume that a cold-caller is a bad player from the get go... i think three betting has some value w/o a read, but it is very, very marginal... i think I may just let it go until I have a reliable read on the two players...

b.) I think an argument could be made for all 3 options...
but imo 3 betting>calling>folding

I would call both, KQ plays exceptionally well passively. You usually have the best kicker but people love to bet K and Q high boards to the river. Three bet on the first option is fine though too.(position and blind considerations)

With no reads I fold both hands preflop.

I guess I'm not the only one after all .

I was starting to wonder.

Makes us three then.I think we all have to learn to fold hands like these. If I play hand B I just call and play fit or fold.

Against aggressive tricky LAGTAGS that frequently sees turn HU it is definitely better to call this instead of reraising. Folding might still be better though.

cases can be made to 3-bet or fold in each case, they are both close in EV. Calling = worst play in the world

One should be able to play these hands profitably post flop. Folding is really weak here.

As far a calling being the worst, this is ridiculous. Believe it or not in these ramjam short handed games fit or fold and passive play is often the best option. I think Schneids was discussing something similar to this when defending his aggression factor.

Folding is not weak. But you´re totally right about the calling part.
