Now your talking crazy Gaboon isn't here for open discussion, sharing information. Every post smells of an agenda. I also like this statement:

By the way I predicted Doyles Room would go under for good in USA

[/ QUOTE ]

Great job, haven't you predicted every site folding for the US? lol.

Bottom Line, Doyle's couldn't get their act together fast enough to move to a new network, before iPoker closed the door on them...

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep. But AFAIK they're still moving, although of course that could be wrong as of today.

i imagine creating the infastructure for a us player base is alot more difficult than operating in countries that will let you use neteller, clicktopay etc.

I can't help but think about that lame-ass Doyle's Room commercial where Doyle says to Chad Brown, "Turn out the lights, the Party is over."

Standing there in his PJs with that stupid grin on his face after such an aggressive statement now makes him look more than a little ridiculous, IMO.

I'm embarrassed for him, and it makes me sad.

The only good thing to come out of Doyle's Room closing is that players will receive their $, or Doyle will have a horrible legacy in the poker world.

Hey guys, please note I predicted this one EXACTLY over a MONTH ago in one of my "Learn, Chat & Jail with the Pros" posts. I said there was NO WAY Doyles Room would find a new network beacause it was obvious to me that no established network was left that would accept US customers and the "Doyle Brunson Network" was nowhere near the size to stand alone. If they tried to stand alone the tables at Doyles Room would be like a ghost-town. I was right on--exact--a month ago!! You will see as time goes on that most of my predictions will be spot on.

RE: stupid questions

Average number of players online was usually about 2500 in my experience, 4-5000 at peak hours on weekends. Doyle pretty much only played the Bounty Tournament, which was once every Wednesday.

This, of course, was before all the s-it starting hitting the fan for online poker. I'm not sure what kind of numbers they've had recently.
