EDIT: i didnt see the board was paired that makes it close, probably no biggie either pushing or calling are fine

I'd suspect the fact that you checked the flop and the flush draw got there earned you excessive bluff action

This would likely work against me, since no one ever checks flopped flush draws (EVER - bobbo).

In the future, I would probably tread much more carefully when eliminating hands from your range because you have demonstrated an ability to mix up your play.
