Re: 200NL - Thin(?) river value bet with TPJK gets ch/shoved on.
[ QUOTE ]
I'm curious as to why you wouldn't 3-bet in position against a player who seems like he steals often. Not saying you're wrong, just want to hear why. [/ QUOTE ] If they steal so much then I think we have more value by calling and using position. If they are tight then I don't mind a reraise. FWIW I reraise here in a CO vs button sitution but the blind battle has a slightly different dynamic because SB will be opening with a tighter range and also won't give us as much credit. |

Re: 200NL - Thin(?) river value bet with TPJK gets ch/shoved on.
you got 2 viable options:
check turn for pot control and call OR valuebet river. raise turn and check OR call river. the only hand you beat is a huge [censored] bluff. Though I think you looked him up and saw 22. |

I don't see a ton of value in betting this river. This doesn't seem like the right spot to pull 3 full streets of value. It's sick when his TT pays you big, but I think I check behind here often.

I would check the river.
When you start value-betting really thin, you have to be prepared to call bluff-raises. I probably call river as played. |
