I didn't buy in short, I was bleeding over time. Are you guys saying all of you like to maintain your stack size at a certain mimimum level no matter how you are running?? What is that level for 1/2?

100bb at all levels, so $200.

Edit: And I pretty much reload at 90bb or so.

If you can't afford to do this, you are probably playing underbankrolled and should move down.

I think most players here refill if the stack becomes to low. I always add chips at latest if my stack drops below 85%-90% of max buyin.

ignore the people who say it's horrible to have a short stack, you just have to adjust a ton depending on your stack. FWIW I do usualy rebuy full if I'm under like 80bb though.

Blinds: $1/$2 ... hero: $61 ... hero raises to $6 ...

Problem 1 - Don't play so short stacked unless you are playing a short-stack strategy. In which case, you should open push with AA along with a lot of other good hands.
Problem 2 - Raise more, especially if you're short stacked and you don't want to push. Try to raise enough to pot commit you and anybody in with you to the flop. Make it at least $15 or even $20.

Anyway, as played, you can't really get away from this.

I rebuy as well, but do you think rebuying this often makes other people play tighter against you because they know you are probably a good player waiting for the chance to stack them?

I usually wait until over 10% of my stack is gone for this reason.

Seriously you have AA and a 61$ stack, its not like folding is an option.

And i'm not trying to be an ass or anything but you should probebly move down to 0.25/0.5 or so.

True, but there aren't just donks at the table, especially as you move up. I wonder how this affects your "image". Like of you are playing B&M nd are all serious and focused some people will tighten up against you even if they aren't that good of a player.

I;m just wondering if the same thing can happen here with the so-so players?
