Re: (27) KK versus probable AA
Preflop is fine, but you need to shove this flop.

Pudge-
Could you please elaborate? I don't get why you wouldn't want to shove this PF. Are we trying to trap weaker hands? [ QUOTE ] Preflop is fine, but you need to shove this flop. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: (27) KK versus probable AA
When you have KK, you will be better off not analyzing it and just shoving it.

"I don't get why you wouldn't want to shove this PF."
Because the 1 hand that he's behind calls a shove. Because a lot of the hands he's ahead of don't, but they do put more chips in on a lot of flops. |

Re: (27) KK versus probable AA
The thing about not pushing is you give a lot of hands a chance to get away from their hand on the flop and get a lot less value. What happens if he has QQ,JJ and an A flops? You miss out on a lot of value & risk losing the hand. Same thing if a K flops, you aren't going to get as much action. Same for AK,AQ if they miss the flop. Calling is a much better option at higher levels because people will fold out a lot of worse hands that donks at 16s won't fold. People at 16s will re-raise with even worse hands then I just listed & you don't want to give them a chance to get away from their hand.

Re: (27) KK versus probable AA
Dude, please re-raise pf, not necessarily all-in, you can make it 500 to go. On the flop, I push all-in, not much you can do, even though it does look like AA without clubs as played on the flop.
