I'm going to have to go with Get Carter.
Zulu is good, but its on TV all the time so I've watched it in full twice and bits and pieces of it much more. I loved The Man who would be King and even though I have watched it in the last year, really wouldn't mind re-watching it. Pretty much just randomly selected one of the other 3. |

[ QUOTE ] Get Carter I haven't seen Get Carter or Black Narcissus but have seen the others although none in a very long while. So almost any of these would seem new to me. If Get Carter is the best ganster movie ever I need to see it [/ QUOTE ] Actually, that's maybe building it up too high. I should say, it's IN MY OPINION, the best gangster film ever made [/ QUOTE ] no, you were right the first time. It is the best gangster movie ever made. I can't choose between Get Carter and The Man Who Would Be King. Flipping a coin... Get Carter it is. |

[ QUOTE ] Black Narcissus - A subtle-ish study of repressed female sexuality unparalleled in cinema [/ QUOTE ] hmm, repressed sexuality huh. Sounds kind of intriguing. Is this movie any good? [/ QUOTE ] Well, not just regular repressed sexuality, but the repressed sexuality of NUNS!! You can't go wrong with that. Seriously though it is in my top 20 of all time list. I'd vote for it because it's one of those movies that is hardly predictable. You just have to make sure you know nothing about it going in. Plus it's one of the best photographed movies ever. Won an Academy Award for it. |

It's one of those movies that is absolutely fantastic, but it's so subtle it's hard to explain why it's so good. |
