You kind of excluded it in your OP, but the correct answer has to be whatever is on your DVR. There is plenty of enjoyable nighttime programming, and plenty of things on at the same time. Also, things that are on after you go to bed. My DVR broke, I really need to get one because now that I don't stay up late I miss Conan.

In addition, Netflix or Blockbuster.

So, to answer your question, it would be no. There is nothing good on TV during the day because the only audience are people that are too lazy to care what they're watching, people home sick, and housewives that are easily amused.
