this is the easiest game to play in

Actually, it may not be the easiest; but it should be one of the easiest and generally the most profitable.

That being said, I have had some of my worst sessions on the loosest tables, probably partly due to my own fault, but sometimes the fish just catch a lot of their hands.

Well games like this are going to have a lot of variance

The same thing happens in almost every home game I ever sat in. BE PATIENT - wait for your big cards and get your money in. I'll be glad to take my chances every single time holding my AA against his 72o.

Getting big cards cracked against lower cards happens. Again - BE PATIENT.

If you're making 10xBB raises and 5 people are still calling you then you're still not raising enough!

[/ QUOTE ]

What he said all day long. Step on the gas when you've got AA! And 10xBB in this game is not stepping on the gas if guys holding a low suited four-gapper are willing to call you.

so, your saying playing against 5 ppl when you have raised it 10xBB with AA and flop comes 467 and you know one of those retards played their 58 or 67 or 35 ... i always get "because i was suited"

[/ QUOTE ]

You're not supposed to win with AA against 5 opponents all the time. In fact if you only win 1 time in 4, you'll get rich. You do get that, right?

So, I have started back at a home game that used to be easy

[/ QUOTE ]

How much easier does it get? Value bet your ass off or fold.

I have a problem.

I used to play in a game where I raised aces 10X the BB, and everyone called. I got rich.

Now I've come back and it's a nit fest. I raise 2x and they all fold, or I get trapped.

Do you think I should quit this game?

I'm having trouble telling if this is a joke, but you don't quit this one either. If they fold liberally to your minraise, minraise 72o under the gun. (I seem to remember reading that if everybody used the PF recommendations in SSHE, it would be profitable to raise any 2 utg and openfold when called -- of course such a game is NOT what those PF recommendations are for!)
