Let me preface this by saying that I respect you and your posts.

But if you put a gun to my head, I'm not checking this flop.

Right or wrong, I'm not doing it. Even if Curtains, Gigabet, and Irieguy told me to me do it. Even if somehow Daliman agreed with Curtains.

So, let me re-phrase my question: If you had to choose between open pushing and betting a lessor amount like half my stack, which would you do?

I'd bet 225 or so. You'll get more action, in my experience.

I agree, bet about 2/3rds pot. You could even bet just a shade over 1/2 really, it's so benign.

Betting about 30 to 40% of your stack on the turn seems right followed by an auto push on the river. This would be a slight underbet of the pot and more likely to get action. You want action with this board.

A continuation bet looks like the better move, as it doesn't unmask the strength of your hand. And doesn't give those with a pair a free chance to catch their 5 outer to 2 pair. Half or slightly more than the pot bet looks good here.

i'd bet about t250 or t300, autoshove the turn obv. I just think it gets a bit more value.

pushing isn't bad though, it's a pretty close 2nd in my opinion.

Dude, raise more preflop. It's Party. You're gonna get action.

If the flop brings a flush draw I'd just shove but on a rainbow flop like this I'm cbetting 280-360 and obviously pushing the turn.

The problem with the Party-size stacks is they don't give you much room to play around. You're going to be pot-committed after any decent raise, and can't afford to be giving implied odds to any decent draw - or even not-so-decent draw, for that matter.

I'd just push. Makes it look like you don't want action.

But I also see nothing wrong with just checking since the pot was raised preflop. I really only hate to see an A on the turn, and I don't mind letting somebody try to catch up, and it's very likely to be bet anyway. Anything else spikes me, I took a gamble and lost, such is life.

Unraised would be a different story.
