I think you're looking into his raise too much. The odds that you have a hand that can call both raises is pretty low, so he probably just haphazardly threw in a small isolation raise here. SS has like 4bbs and is on a huge range, 2+2er knows this, and is pushing a shitton of crappy aces and pairs (or worse). I don't even think about folding here.

He is also giving you exactly 2-1 odds to call (~152k/76). Being that he's a very good player, how do we interpret this?

End it there.

Obviously calling is the worst option.

I was torn for a moment over whether to push or fold because his minraise scared me a bit

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry for the ambiguity...I meant push, I said end it there because I thought you were 3 handed and pushing and winning would end the tourney.
it's still a push.

Clearly folding is best. Villain has AA.

i think folding here is obvious, why would you want to go bust against (what seems to be) the 2nd best player at the table?

I'm not sure as chip leader it's the right move to play in this spot (the mini-raise certainly doesn't guarantee a good hand, but certainly feels scary), and I think a fold is best, especially if you feel you have good equity against the table. But I'm not sure I'd always make it...sometimes, though.
