I opened this thread expecting it to be a discussion on Mike Ricci.

Yeah, he is making the rounds. Was on Mike North Morning Show this morning, said it was not a publicity stunt. It is odd though since the others in the bet wagered nothing. Seems like kind of one of those things said in passing that no one would take seriously, but he is.

Why doesn't he change his name to Tony Dungy? That's who led the Colts to victory.

[/ QUOTE ]

Or Rex Grossman

Too soon?

Nice. Yeah, I'd probably give him more credit for the Colts' win than Dungy or Manning.

Very very weak. This is awful. When will the legal system understand the idea of honoring a bet.

That sucks. Because Tom Brady is a top notch QB, should that prevent people with the last name Brady from naming their son Tom?

The dude manned up and tried to honor a bet. Not a douchebag. Idiot maybe. But not a douchebag.

Sort of. He really made it clear that he was only doing this out of compliance and not of his own free will, which, though it may have been the trust, all but assured that the judge would disallow the change.

He went through the motions, but in all honesty, he didn't really try and honor the bet.
