which egg does it have? cuz dunkin' donuts has the NASTIEST "fried" eggs in existence. every time i am forced to eat there due to lack of better options or laziness, i order a ham and cheese, no egg, on a bagel, and they almost never fail to give me an egg anyway.

ugh, i shudder when i even think of those nasty things.

I just had one of these this morning. I agree that it is Dunkin' Donuts' attempt at a Sausage McGriddle.

Mine was pretty good, but... well, I've read Fast Food Nation, and I could practically identify the chemical that was telling me this was deliciously maple syrup-scented and flavored.

That simply sounds gross.

I never have understood sweet+scrambled eggs=worth eating

Like the McGriddles at McDonalds. Don't get it.

It was some kind of "scrambled" egg type of object, and I'm 99% sure it was cooked in the microwave.

Nez - do not underestimate the number of people who enjoy maple syrup on their sausage. And eggs/cheese have long been great partners. This is simply an attempt to combine two great separate tastes into one great taste.

Normally, I enjoy this combination, but the DD sandwich simply was not up to par.

nath - did you get the croissant toasted? I did not. I'm wondering if that had anything to do with it?

Sponger,

That looks good. Do you dip it in maple syrup?
