I dont know - these hands might win 10 % of the time and in any case personally dont give hero much credit for this type of calldown.

doing stuff like this is pretty read dependent. timing tells, recent hands at the table, stuff like that matters in this situation - so really it just comes down to you making a read and sticking with it. i don't mind the call but without some extra info i think the "standard" would be to fold.

Ok, this hand was actually one of those switcheroo hands, I was in the CO w/ 55, I'm fairly sure Villain is a 2p2'er.

Just wanted to see if this was a good spot to bluff.

Arguements for not betting your draw in this spot for additional fold equity?

id prob fold 5s pf here without much thought after the raise to 48. regardless, i'm not a big fan of the play without a ridiculous read. if he picked you off this time kudos to him, do it again when you have aq and laugh it off.

On boards like this I usually see everyone raise draws with 8+ outs on the flop b/c a ton of your repop range can't stand the heat on an ace high board. And similarly, slowplay their good made hands. Maybe he peels a gutshot or bottom pair but there aren't that many combos.

Normally I would say I didn't like this, but given the history between the two of you at the table I like it. Obviously this isn't something you are doing regularly, but I think villian shows up with a weak hand a decent amount of time here. I have definatly done what villian has done with air on multiple occasions.
