Actually I folded this hand without realizing I had turned a gutshot. Is this a fold if the 8 didn't fall on the turn?

You flopped the GS, your post suggests a 9 hit the turn, an 8 would of gave you the straight.

Most of the time I agree. This pot is already big and I want to better my chances of taking it down by getting overcards to fold. However it looks like the BB is a little passive postflop so I don't know if you will ever be shutting the CO out unless you are beat by an overpair. I do think the CO has a fairly large range here, but a cap from the BB leads me to believe he either has AK or a PP that is above ten. So I'm torn. I probably just c/c and end up losing when the CO spikes his jack on the turn then he flips over KJo.
