Default Re: ?? Automatic card shuffler ???

The cheap shufflers are terrible. Louder than a deisel engine and about as effective. I got one as a gift (heart was in the right place - they knew I played a lot) and used it twice before retiring it. I'm thinking of giving it as a consolation prize at a home tournament or something.

I can't speak to the hand-powered mechanical shufflers though. Anyone have any luck with those? Am I imagining these or did I really see this somewhere?

There is a more advanced card shuffler sold by a guy here in the Denver area. I was going to review it, but I have not yet.

If you're talking about the ones you crank they're just as bad. Although a little quieter they still take up too much room on the table. We only used the battery powered one once before retiring it and the hand crank ones lasted about 2-3 tries. I never thought of giving it away as a prize- guess I'm not that mean.... Yep, that's what I was thinking of.

I probably can't bring myself to give mine away either. I want these people to play at my house again, after all.
