I thought he had a pair like eights at the time. How often does he have to fold a better hand for this to be profitable?

I like the aggression on early streets, but I hate the river raise.

He is folding *nothing* here for one more bet, and you'll get 3 bet by all kinds of hands that beat you.

If you want to try this kind of play, move to NL, and there push the flop or turn.

This river raise is speeeewwwwwwwww. Though I probably would make the crying call.
