Making it more rewarding when you get it right because you used your brain instead of your pencil.

It's more rewarding to consistently solve websudoku Evil puzzles in under 20 minutes.

If you consistently solve them in under 20 minutes, how is that rewarding?

I don't touch the paper until I have a correct number to put in.

As of right now, I don't believe the results of this poll. 32 of you have admitted that you pencil in different numbers until you find the one you need. 37 of you said you only use brainpower. I call BS.

I pencil in all possible numbers, and cross out one by one. Keeping track of your work makes a lot of sense, and helps you solve these puzzles quickly and consistently, like math or physics problems. Trying to do an upper level math problem without pencil is hard, ineffecient, and you screw up a lot. Using pencil allows you to find combinations you don't see with only your mind.

I guess it depends on how difficult they are. I would think there are few (although undoubtedly some) who can solve the hardest puzzles, without writing in possible candidates in the squares.

BrainPower I find is easier to do it.....But occasionally I'll write numbers on the more difficult ones....

It depends what level puzzle really...

I'm not surprised. I think a lot of people (including myself) have only finished one or two.
