UTG is not part of this 'history' and is the guy who puts in the 5-bet.

For the sake of your students, I hope you see how the reasoning in your statement is flawed.

Edited to add: Crispy, I know it's sarcasm. That's my point. Moonshine is basically saying "ZOMG KK, FREE MONIEZ ALLLIN". Just because you have KK doesn't mean you must go broke here.

The reraise size is bad not really because it puts you in a [censored] spot in the specific instance that the bb 4 bets and the button min 4-bets. Though it is a true statement, it really isn't going to come up that often.

Your reraise size is bad moreso for the following reasons.

1) Whether you are/aren't making this same reraise size w/ 76s/22 type hands, it is bad regardless, unless you play considerably better than villain postflop.
2) You have reason to believe villain will call/raise you light. Maybe you should take advantage that and raise bigger to get more $$ in the pot.
3) You're giving odds to villain to call w/ any playable hand and crack your KK.

In the heat of the moment, depending on what I think of how these guys play, and how I think they view me, and how they view each other, I might try to get all in here. BUT this is a lot of action you're facing. When I see someone min-reraise like you did I expect them to often have a huge hand. Now when UTG puts in the FOURTH raise against TWO players who have both shown A LOT of strength, he'd be crazy to not have the nuts here, so I'd fold. And if it turns out he really is crazy, you've got the best seat at the table to take his money.

i had a really similar situation the other day but with 140bb effective stacks and obviously my 3 bet being a normal sized one.... I got to fold though because bb 4 bet and UTG shoved all in... I tanked and folded they had AK and AA. But that's irrelevant because we're talking about your hand right now....

I don't really know if I could fold there, just because people would have to essentially show me their AA face up before I even considered folding KK in a 100bb cash game. Even then i'd just write it off to variance and stick it in,.

not saying i do it, but i think the best play is folding here b/c utg is not part of the history with you and he will have AA here more than we think.
