uberman schedule

Friend of mine was doing it for a week. Fell asleep once and didn't wake up in time. Roommate comes in, trying to wake him up in nearly every way possible (dumping water on him, hitting him etc) and he doesn't move an inch. Seems not to be breathing, or barely breathing. Ambulance is called and they take him to the hospital. To the shock of everybody, who thought he was dead, he wakes up in the back of the amubalance and shocks everybody in it.

As for me: 7 AM - 3 PM. However, I'm pretty normal right now.

Redundantly shocking! What's the uberman schedule btw?

I haven't ever tried that sleep schedule, but there was an "ask me" thread on this topic somewhere on the forum. You should also check out that wikipedia link.

I've done every 8/9/10 hour stretch possible. A month ago I was doing like 1PM to 10 PM for a while. That was pretty weird.

I've also done stuff like 3 AM to 7 AM and then 3 PM to 8 PM or so.. but I think that's pretty common with students.

Once I started college I went on the 3am-noon schedule, and that remained for nearly 4 years, even when I wasn't in school. I worked in the restaurant business, and it allowed me to do that.

Just recently I got a job that requires I be to work by 6am. It took a good two weeks before my body was adjusted, but now I go to bed between 10:30-11:30pm, and wake up around 5:00am. It sucks.

If you need to adjust it, find something you NEED to get up in the morning for, and just do it. You'll be tired as [censored] the first day, but will go to bed earlier, and eventually your body will adjust.

2am-9am pretty consistently, except on weekends: 4-6am to 2-3pm, depending on hungoverness

sunday nights I can never fall asleep until around 4, so I get tired for the rest of the week, napping occasionally

My roommate was really messed up a while ago, getting 13-15 hours of sleep every time he laid down. After a while of sleeping through his 5pm classes he's gotten a little more normal again.

My senior year of HS I'd get home around noon and sleep until midnight. I'd stay awake through the night and through the next school day.

Right now I don't goto school, and I'm really messed up.

I really wish I could get back on my normal schedule, which was sleeping from 4am - 4pm.

Now I'm all over the place. I'll stay awake for 24hours, then sleep for 20 hours. Most recently I've been sleeping from 1pm - 7pm, awake for 30min, then sleep again until 2am.

Although, I'm pretty certain I actually have a sleeping disorder and am being consulted for prescription sleep aid soon. I have series issues falling asleep.

Why would you want to have a sleep schedule consisting of 4pm-4am???
