No clue on that personally. I don't pimp professionals. But for someone with large sums. Just getting someone to help with efficient frontier and do all your balancing etc is a lot better than doing it yourself, since errors might be 5 figure when dealing with hooge sums.

Argo I have introduced a few guys on this board (one is a well known high stakes player) to a guy I have been using for a decade. I have a substantial amount of assets with him and trust him implicitly. There are a lot of archived posts about whether it makes sense to use a broker or not...so I won't repeat the arguments here. It is my opinion that, while you might eventually decide to go it on your own, you should absolutely start with someone holding your hand.
