I am 5'10" about 150 and it takes me about 6-7 to get drunk, 15+ to get retarded, and I can usually feel an effect after 1-2.

I've downed 8 in an hour and still have been not very drunk. Heavily tipsy, but not drunk.

There was that one time I drank 12 in less than an hour. Yeah...then I was wasted.

I can't handle my booze as well as I used to because I lost 35 pounds and thus a lot of my tolerance.

10 seems to be the standard number for me, not that im ever counting after 5+.

After about age 20-21, I could never get drunk from beer. I would always get too full to drink any more without feeling buzzed. Following that...

1.5 liters of vodka/gin/canadian whiskey (whatever I was in the mood for) per day, every day, for 5+ years. And never with a hangover the following morning, never vomitting.

Was I drunk? Probably. I regularly blew a .3+ on a friend's pocket breathalyzer. And they would tell me they couldn't tell if I was drunk or not, except that I would REEK of alcohol.
