Wow this spot sucks. I think I would lean toward a fold here although I may call in the heat of the moment because I tend to do that sometimes. Anyway I think he has a set here (with AA being a possibility along with 1010 and 77) more often than not.

Close one, I think its a call.

If you was even deeper I would like a turn bet of 1/2 pot or so folding to a raise.

His line is consistent with TT/77 knowing the pot is inflated enough on the turn to let you have a free one in case you have AK/AQ and deciding he can just get it in on the river, and also a combo draw.

His raise on the flop is a really good size. It's less than 1/2 pot, but still allows him to push for almost full pot on the river even if the turn goes check-check. I really can't decide what the correct play is, but I like how villain played his hand regardless of what he has.

I would check the flop. And I would call the river.

You, my friend, are in a tough spot. Looks like 77 or TT. If villain is very taggish, we can rule out all flopped two pairs and probably 89s, KJs, and QJs. I think he has TTT here, and he miniraised flop to either look like draw or b/c he knew AK would call. Tough spot, but I lean towards fold.

it should be a fold, but i end up calling almost every time anyways just cuz i hate folding.

me 2, which is why I play 2/4 still. I think it's best to let them have it if they haven't been getting out of line. Once you've shown you will fold a few hands, then it becomes more right to call.
