Re: Urinal retrieval situation
I used to work for a Sprint store in a mall. Some lady came in one morning with a phone that looked melted and misshapen. She said she had been in a club the night before and dropped it into the toilet. On the advice of a friend, she had then placed it in her oven for 20 minutes to dry it out. It was one of the more awful things I've ever heard anyone come right out and admit to.
...but the phone is not a Movado. I'd have created some sort of toilet paper / paper towel glove, retrieved it and left it in the sink for a day or so to dry out. If it's waterproof (as has been suggested), I'd have washed it off immediately. However, if you can easily afford to just leave it and buy a new one, and it has no sentimental value (gift from dead grandfather, etc) this is all moot. |
