exactly....I always liked the college rule here because it's clear cut and leaves less to official interpretation.

College players still only need 1 foot in, so it's alot easier on them and wouldn't be as significant. Very rare for a forceout to be called when a receiver doesn't even have 1 foot in

I know, I guess I didn't explain my point well. College doesn't need it because wide receivers are still able to make catches when they are being hit because it's infinitely easier to get 1 foot (toe even) in while being hit than it is to get that second one down in the NFL
