Jacob is a private guy, I don't totally disregaurd the reflecting time... though i think a large part of it is BS. He has alot of family, alot of comitments, and therefore not alot of time to himself

edit - jacob is an odd guy, Sam and jacob are good friends, i made this thread to show jacob this is not the way to do this

sorry for cliffnotes sucking

He should def give the kid a ride, i mean he does bad in his classes right? Therefore any way to help him get to his classes is a good thing. If he screws up and doesnt go to class then it wont affect your other friend at all

One friend sounds like a douche, and the other sounds like a mooch. Get new friends.

Jacob is a douche. If they are going to the same damn school, give the guy a ride. How can he do well in his class if he isn't there? It's ridiculous to disallow a kid from going to class and then be pissed at his failing grades.

However, Sam shouldn't mooch to the point where he doesn't pay up for gas money. The offer is generous enough even if Jacob does not accept.

I sympathize with Jacob here. I like to use my driving time to think and listen to what radio station/music I want to. I would hate to have to worry about someone else's schedule interfering with mine. The "tough love" thing is silly, but the other two points are totally valid. Maybe Sam should have thougth about getting a driver's license and a car before moving so far away from school.
