[/ QUOTE ] this is an excellent example of how precarious some of this information is. that spoiler thread is in the idol forums. in the past, such info would never be allowed. now it is?? and it is ever-changing?? i don't trust the source, it may very well be manipulated by AI.

... i see that one of the big fan favorites that had been allegedly eliminated has been brought back as another competitor who made it thru was eliminated due to eligibility issues..... also, one huge, huge favorite was seemingly eliminated... a little surprised by that

[/ QUOTE ] those aren't official forums, and they had spoiler information last year too. I'm still not sure if it's all legit, though, since the info isn't based on research or deduction, but on two or three guys on the board who claim to have sources inside AI. producers could easily be manipulating it. I'm also a little skeptical because such a huge percentage of the people they say are making the 24 have had their auditions on t.v. already. In previous years that hasn't been the case.

EDIT: just my presumption they were swapped, but thomas was IN, brother was DONE and now they are reversed with thomas DQ'ed. but he was definitely gone in that list... it's been altered. as per quality of the spoiler threads in general, i've seen some say they're garbage (without any backing)

i've checked and re-checked the lists.... two names i'm shocked aren't there are jenry (black guy adopted by bolivian family) and jory steinberg (name?? canadian living in L.A.. simon's comments were incredibly positive)
