they don't own the site. they own the software that is licensed to the site. plus a few don't even own shares in the software company, but are paid a fee to represent the site.

I still think they should be arrested. They are on the payroll of a site that is deemed by the DOJ to be operating illegally. They might be on the payroll of Tiltware Inc, but Tiltware Inc's only customer is FullTiltPoker.com so they are basically one in the same. Anyways, I would love to see Doyle Brunson get arrested, he deserves it. He hyped up WPTE stock with a fake buyout offer. Hope he croaks in jail. Besides, it would be good to have some pros in jail, good publicity and might lead to future changes that benefit us all.

I doubt this puts them out of reach of the long arm of the law. My guess is they are to small time to interest the doj at this point in time. they seem to be focusing on sports books and now neteller.

Umm...you're kidding right?

That's the most ludicrous thing I've ever heard of. Why don't we just operate the judicial system based on assumptions and inferences. That would be better.

I don't think it would be a bad thing if some big name pros got arrested. They would no doubt fight it, it would generate alot of publicity, and the public would finally realize how [censored] retarded the govt. is being and it might lead to changes.

Who actually "owns" Full Tilt then?

And to the others who answered my question so constructively, do you think the owner of Pokerstars would travel to the USA?
