I cashed out about 20k from Bodog via check last month after my prima account got switched over. First they asked for that Bank account verification Form but I never filled it out and the check came very quickly- at my house in under a week.

I emailed bodog to find out if I could cash out by cheque, they told me that because I only funded my account with neteller, I was only allowed to cash out to neteller.

fking bodog.

I dont think this is true, talk to somebody else. I only deposited through neteller but I was allowed to withdraw via check no problem.

Never had any problems at that site, I don't know where the animosity is coming from here.

How long have you been playing at bodog?

I don't see why being a long time customer should affect whether or not I'm able to cash out by cheque. It just seems like bodog likes to dck their customers around.

[/ QUOTE ]

I signed up at Bodog in the Spring of 05.

FWIW-Bodog support has always been great the few times I've called them.
They answer right away, & their phone support has native English speakers.
Many large sites don't even have phone support. PS & FT anyone?

This is encouraging, as tomorrow I'm going to request my first cashout via check from any poker site in three years.

Thanks for your reply, you're the only who replied who has confirmed receiving a check from Bodog that went w/o any problems.

I'm pretty sure there are simple workarounds on this though. The easiest is to just make another deposit using an alternate method. Then, you can withdraw both your initial deposit and your other funds via that method.

This is pretty much what I was thinking. I'm sure they'll start accepting whatever service becomes the favorite of us degenerates, and after you deposit and play for a while, I can't imagine they'd make a distinction between the "old" and "new" funds you had there.

I never gave them my bank info, they just sent me a check. Very quickly.

I'd verify that it still works like that, but I haven't played the site in a month and I don't really feel like trying to track down my account info.

Oh, I see in the other thread that Bodog won't send checks any more.

If that is true, then just ignore me, thanks for stopping by!

I just got off the phone with Bodog. It is true, they are no longer sending out checks ("at least temporarily"). You can either use one of the other e-wallets (not citadel/neteller obviously) or you can do a direct transfer to your bank account.

They recommend the direct transfer.

Sounds like everything is under control to me.
