I want SC2 because I want more Raynor. I want more Kerrigan. I want more Zeratul. I want more of the best RTS storyline ever made.

A new game that's fun and balanced would be awesome.

YES, I mean they left off with a cliff hanger after Brood War and haven't gone back to that universe since then. As of yesterday they have 0 games and 0 expansions that are in announced development. I don't see why they can't do both StarCraft 2 and Diablo 3 (which I would like to be a quasi-MMORPG like guild wars).

Personally I'm hoping for a World of Starcraft.

Yeah, something like that would be sweet. And an evolution not just a cosmetic update.

Supposedly most or all of their resources are devoted to WoW. What I don't understand is, why not just hire more teams? I don't know the economics of it...

I'm very confident that isn't true. I know they have had other games in various stages of development in the past few years but I don't know which ones or how far along they were.

I certainly don't.

A World of Starcraft, where you can't attack anyone else unless he/she allows it? And even then, after a thorough whipping, villains base and units would be completely restored by some weirdo magic?

Thank you very much, sir, but no.

Blizzard is a very arrogant, head up their asses company.

They make very high quality games that sell great, but take exactly 0 input from the public regarding anything. I'm sure this is often for the better, but sometimes for the worse.

SC was my fav. multiplayer game of all time and I only pray they come out with SC2 soon, HARDCORE SC2, no RPG elements, no "slow" BS, a pure action packed never blink RTS sorta game.

But considering how many gazillions of dollars they are making on WoW, I'm scared it will be some sort of "pay to play" BS

Got me there.

Still doesn't make it more thrilling, since whooping villain's ass would only mean that he's got to get from the healer back to where he was. No stat skill or possession loss.
I may be old-fashioned, but without any risk, where's the fun?

Well you could always camp his corpse if you're into that sort of thing. Also all of those trips of running back to your dead body can add up to quite a bit of time, which equals money in this subscription-based game.
