If you order a Red Bull and vodka at Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, they now make you buy the whole can. So a drink that used to cost $2.75 now costs over $5.

It tastes like caramel soda

SAY WHAT? You need a tastebud reset. There's nothing caramel-like about RedBull. Found a web page that describes it better than I ever could... http://www.lanceandeskimo.com/chefelf/bev_redbull.shtml

I'll summarize their taste test results:

Looks like carbonated pee
Smells like Sweet Tarts
Carbonated so much it burns in your mouth
Tastes exactly like bile
Leaves an aftertaste of vomit

Excellent description

I don't know, it seems like some people go way out of their way to find Red Bull foul-tasting and heart-attack/stroke inducing. Maybe it's a bit like with sushi: some people love it, some people absolutely can't stand it.

Red Bulls are great. I'd of never made it through my wife's emergency surgery a few months back without 'em. Well, like thirty of 'em. It took me about three days to stop shaking.

There's more caffene in a cup of black coffee BTW. For some reason, I can drink pots of coffee with little effect but one bull and I'm FLYING.

agreed, drink a few coffee's and i just get a little wired,
I drink a redbull and i get the feeling like my heart is about to explode and im going to die.

Borgata Poker Red Bull Tip

The waitresses won't serve redbull unless you are in the high limit room. You can buy a redbull from the bar for like $6.

The trick is... you go to the racebook, buy a $2 ticket on a horse, and you get a free drink from the bar. $2 redbull, plus a freerole on a horse.

If you're going to buy it, you might as well buy it for 3 something in the Borgata store, which is a short walk away from the poker room. Unfortunately, they're closed at night, which is usually the time when you really need it.

Are there other drinks that they serves in the high limit room but not the main room? I've always found the regular poker room very good with drink order, but I don't get anything complicated.

Red Bull is so necessary for those long sessions. i pop 2 No Doz, and down 2 RedBulls and im good for 24hrs min.

and its rly not that terrible to drink. just down it quickly if u hate it so much.

sry to those who have to pay so much for it. i think its $2 at TS...which im plenty happy to pay. (and for those that drink Red Bull with vodka...b careful plz)
