This seems pretty bad.

Looks like the only thing you're gonna get to fold is a lower flush draw, which you may well be ahead of anyways.

Don't know if you're aware of this, but you can't win the pot by checking.

Don't know if you're being serious or not, but you also can't lose $5000 by checking.

em2 can u explain why? I understand it gives me better odds but do you really think 3900 looks scarier and will fold out more hands than 5000? If I thought 7500 would make him fold, I would bet it...but i figured 5000 and 7500 aren't much of a difference to this guy.

It's betting 1 chip that looks decidedly unscary. The guy isnt thinking about odds.

It's funny cuz you've built up a complicated setting for this hand when really I think the answer is simply something we were all told a long time ago way back on the learning curve, "never bluff a donk/calling station"... as tempting as it is.

I'm guessing villain called? lol

... so you decided to build a huge pot on the turn if you hit, knowing that you're definitely getting paid off since this guy never folds... and then...
Anyhow, yeah, don't ever bluff horrible players that could care less about money. Top pair/middle pair-great kicker is just too much of a laydown to try to force them to make, as they will simply put you on a hand they can beat and call.
