Re: Trip Report-- Buddhist Meditation
About eight years ago I went to the Minneapolis Zen Center (established with $$ from Pirsig) a couple of times.
Not my cup of tea. But this type of thing is good for the right people. I can't sit like that because of disc trouble. I don't enjoy staring a blank wall. And I don't like meditation as a group event. I prefer to meditate while doing everyday activities. My sister-in-law, Princess Moonbeam, has totally gone overboard with this stuff. She was born Baptist, was religious Jewish for awhile (with her now ex before she married my brother) and now she is walking around mountains in northern India/Nepal/someplace and translating Tibetan stuff into english Anybody have any idea where her next religious stop is?? |

Re: Trip Report-- Buddhist Meditation
Sounds about right, since she has clearance for a fly-by...
