I'd like some of you guys more experienced to point some things
BTW how mutch time does it take for you guys to take down on of those im 7/12 and its 1h running thanks PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (7 handed) internettexasholdem.com Button (t2150) SB (t1720) BB (t4360) UTG (t540) MP1 (t1420) Hero (t1470) CO (t2230) Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero raises to t80, 1 fold, Button calls t80, 1 fold, BB calls t60. DON'T POST RESULTS (any action after your last move, or what opponents had)
Hand 1 and 2 are both incredibly standard. Don't be results oriented, it's not your fault if nobody had anything. Slowplaying is out of the question in both hands. Hand 3 I fold KJ after MP3 re-raises. Hand 4 could be limped preflop, but a raise is also OK. I fold to the push on the flop. It is drawless, and you beat nothing. I'd put villain on a nine in that spot. I'll be glad to help you out with hands from the 1/45's. I've played a lot of them, and like to call myself an expert on handling the extremely weak fields in those. |

This one is a tough one. I'm always careful with playing anything below JJ with a raise preflop because you're highly likely to have overcards on the flop. I would usually limp here and see what I can pick up.
As played, it would take a read on this to really play back. It would be hard for me to put him on a 9, and I would probably even call here as I have overcards and he could have a 6 or be trying to steal it back from you if you have been active in the pots. You have to stop what you are doing and think to yourself, "what hands could he have that he would raise me here?" If he has a 9, you're beat. If he has a 6, you're ahead. Could he have A6 or 66? Probably. A9, less likely with 2 9's on the flop, but can't be forgotten. Slowplayed JJ+, you would think he would raise preflop here, but again, can't be forgotten. AJ, AQ, AK...AJ and AQ probably call preflop, maybe even AK gets called preflop or sometimes raised, but unlikely to be raised on the flop unless he thinks you're cbetting with nothing, which comes back to how you think they think they see your image - which if this is a low buy-in, they probably aren't even paying attention. Given that you raised preflop and he's coming back over the top, I would put him on either a 9, a set of 6's, or JJ+. |
