hand from stars $55K, just in the money
Comments on all streets are welcome…
Stars $55K, just into the money. I have 76K, my opponent has 97K, blinds are 1500/3000. My opponent is a passive calling station. Numerous times I saw him put his whole stack in with 2nd pair on the flop. Opponent minraises to 6K, I’m in the BB with K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], I call. Flop is 2s 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I check, he bets 6K into the 13K pot. I am pretty certain he has an overpair. I am also certain he will call if I go all in (no fold equity.) I think I’m even money against 77-QQ. Knowing this, should I go all in? Anyway, I called. The turn was an offsuit 4. I checked, he bet 15K, I made a questionable call. The river was an offsuit J. I checked, he checked with 88 and won. I was down to 50K chips and busted soon after. |
