the problem with check/calling (besides the obvious free card risk) the turn is that you are pretty much forced to c/c the river, in which case you are almost always behind...so now you've put 2bb into a small pot to showdown a loser.

[/ QUOTE ] who siad i have to call the river? I am folding a lot of rivers. I think he often bets the turn and checks through the river. losers don't valuebet rivers.
