Wow. On the flop your priorities should have been:

Fold >>> Push >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>

The reason of course is that you will only spike a straight, set, or diamond 32% of the time on the turn and when you miss you will hit 32% of the river.

The villain is going to push a 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] turn and you won't have pot odds to call.

Plus you might allow the villain to get away from his hand if a diamond falls.

Wow, that call is embarrasingly bad

yeah, this might be one of the grossest flop plays ive ever seen

3betshove is clearly the way to go and i've outlined what to do if we dont get raised on the flop

im pretty certain its by far the best line

How does the stack size affect your opinion in a negative way? Better to take a flip when you have this stack advantage?

You know, I might normally agree with you. But, something I am playing around with is allowing players to define their hands and then exploiting that definition. So when I call that flop bet, I am committing to the diamonds being outs. I view the diamond as a good card.

Ask me how my strategy is going in a couple months lol

I definitely look at stacks in "Gigabet" units and excess units can/should be invested in places that you might otherwise avoid.

yeah sure fine. point is if the edge we're getting is over .001% at this point it is worth taking

and i really hate talk of "trying this approach" "i have a super secret strategy" "this style is best". there's an optimal way to play every hand, and based on ranges, expected actions, and stack sizes, 3bet-shove or bet/c-r is the best line

I am calling, because I don't want him to fold on the flop to a check/raise allin.
