I was watching Ansky's rebuy tournament win where he posted the whole tournament and I noticed that he folded hands much better than this in the blinds.

since then, I've been folding a lot more in the blinds and doing better.

Was he 100xbb deep?

No.

Please stop posting your retarded nonsense. You've obviously given up trying to improve a long time ago, so please refrain from possibly infecting the minds of those looking to learn with your horribly misconstrued advice.

Call.

you gotta chill out. this hand is not such a clear call, and agaisnt good players im definitely folding. the cold caller here hurts your hand in my opinion.

but uhm, yeah, ben you prob shouldnt just auto fold here, what were some of the hands in which i folded a hand which surprised you?

if the button is a giant donk call. If not your hand is in huge trouble against his range and you'l have a hard time semi-bluffing/winning a small pot because of him so i think a fold is ok.

if the button wasnt in the hand its def. a call for me.

wow no way I agree with this.

you have absolutely no reason to think you have good implied odds here, and you are without the betting lead and you are 100% to be OOP vs 1 or possibly 2 opponents.

I'd only call if I had a fantastic read, or I think villain is real bad or something.

ansky,
in a 20r, my default read is that villain is bad enough that i want to make this call. maybe thats not right, and i do defend from the SB too much anyway. also they are bad in a prefect way...i.e. dont value bet thin enough and call with decent made hands too much. so, they don't put you into tough spots when you have a marginal made hand as much as they should, and when you flop big they will pay. at least that's what I thing of a default 20r player as, but its been a while. maybe that isnt right.

fwiw, i didnt see this was 22r and assumed it was 3r to 11r.

it doesnt make much of a difference, but if you dont think this is absolutely an instacall in lower stakes, then well, whatever.

and i'm tired of beenben because he keeps doing this stuff. it's not me blowing up over an isolated incident.

What keeps happening is, we disagree on how a hand should be played. You insist that you are right, criticize my advice in a mean / angry manner, I tell you to chill out. others tell you to chill out. rinse, repeat.

I'm not wrong all the time when I post, and even if I was, it would still be valuable because better players / posters can point it out and point out why it's wrong and everyone can learn from my mistakes.

I've got a lot of posts in OOT and POG and some in STT. If you went back and looked at my posts from like a year ago or even six months ago I think you'd see vast improvement. I know I still have a ways to go.
