If the favorite wins by 3, you push that bet and lose the +2.5 bet. In other words, you don't have all points covered. Polish middles are not necessarily bad and can often be +EV. However, they are a risky proposition since you can lose a full bet. In this case, since the 3 in the NFL is worth more than 12c, this is a -EV proposition. |
