fold 74s preflop from UTG and situations like this don't occur

This is how so many stacks are lost when the cards are dead and you try to force the action. I have been stacked more times during bad runs making plays like this than I ever do getting genuinely bad beat.

I was thinking about flop raises with TPMK and flush draws yesterday and his JTs play seems to be a good example.

Generally, when we raise with flush draws, there's a ton of (currently winning) a-high and weak pair hands that we get fold equity from. That fold equity puts us over into +EV.

Conversely, when one has TP to go with their flush draw like this, what better hands does a flop raise fold out and what worse hands call? I guess he might fold QT or get a push from A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] here. But it seems like these are are pretty small part of our range and we're either folding losing overs or getting pushed by a big PP/set most of the time. Is it good for "Villain" (with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]) to just call the flop here?
