Good riddance. The Falcons need a shake up.

Martz would be horrible in NY. I think he'll be [censored] anywhere, but certainly in NY.

I'm the world's biggest Martz Hater. I'm a moderate Vick Hater.

I found it interesting that I got excited at the idea of those two united. It would never work, and I could laugh at them and feel superior every week.

Q: Wasn't this team one good receiver away from the Super Bowl this year??

[/ QUOTE ]

We basically should've been.

Before Kerney went out for the year, Abraham couldn't stay on the field for more than 3 games at a time, Hartwell never fully recovered from his surgeries, Rod Coleman had to play with a turf toe the entire season, Mora stuck to his 49ers loyalty by playing Jason Webster all the time, Kevin Mathis went out with a broken neck leading to Allen Rossum having to play at CB, and Greg Knapp woke up every morning.

So who's the next coach to get killed in Atlanta?

Martz would be really interesting in Atlanta. Vick would be absolutely horrible in Martz' system - he is the exact opposite of a good Martz QB - but perhaps Martz could design a new offense for Vick?

LOL, I thought exactly the same thing. If they just got Owens and a few other suck-stars on the team I could concentrate all my hate and mockery in one place.

I can't even imagine Martz bothering with Vick. The Atlanta job doesn't seem like anything a marquee coach would bother with.

I would guess a lesser known coordinator or college coach. The type that would jump at any NFL job no questions asked. Yeah, not exactly going out on a limb there, but hey...
