Re: PSA for Bay Area LOTR fans
This is giving me flashbacks of the coach ride to Shanghai.
I've done the trilogy at home twice and I don't think I could do it in a theater. That is just too long for me to be around other people, and potentially, other peoples kids. Really sounds like fun though and the Castro is a good place for it. Great atmosphere. (uptight people, please bring your tollerance). |

Re: PSA for Bay Area LOTR fans
At the end of each movie, you are supposed to give the guy to your left a hand job. So DONT sit in the far right seat.

Re: PSA for Bay Area LOTR fans
I'm straight (I think) but I would rather go to the "Grease" sing-a-long at the Castro.
[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Castro Theatre ; try to see a silent movie there where someone plays along on their organ (the musical instrument, you pervs) |

I'm with Dids , If I was there I would totally do it. Would require about 1/8 ounce of weed though.

Re: PSA for Bay Area LOTR fans
I guess this is the first time this is happening in SF or something? Or a theater this nice? Kind of surprising, cause LA nerdz have clamored for / gotten this back-back-back gayness since basically the close of Return of the King's initial domestic run couple years back. (Think they've been doing it like twice a year at the Arclight.)

Re: PSA for Bay Area LOTR fans
I grew up near the Grand Lake -- great theater. The Castro's great too, but there's no plathe like home.
