I can definitely relate to the "material world doesn't mean a thing" mentality that develops around the third or forth glass. Being a little older (and with one kidney) those days are far and few between but I too quit caring about the future at times. Then again, spending half of your bankroll on partying doesn't seem that responsible. If I were in your shoes I would leave my credit cards at home before going out, maybe the atm card too. Plently of fun, memory building ways to spend your time that don't cost as much.
