6 max PLO on Stars

What's with Stars and the no "Pot Bet" button?

This is pretty cool.

A few weeks ago I was playing 5/10 plo on stars and randomly Lee Jones comes to the table and asks the table how we are and [censored]. He asks if we have any questions or comments and a couple ppl say "6 max plo yo" and he says "hmmm, interesting idea, we will definitely think about it"

He's probably also read some recent threads here on the shortstackers and how we think the min should be raised to like 40bb for the buyin, and where it was also frequently mentioned that 6-max should be added to plo as it was for nlhe a long time ago.

Yeah I don't know why they don't have a pot bet button. There are some reasons not to have it, but it's more needed in plo than elsewhere. Plus even for opening raises in nlhe a pot sized raise is a very common open within 1/2 a blind.

I think pot-betting buttons are a terrible idea. I think it saves a lot of fishes money cos its harder for them to make a mistake if they constantly bet pot. Forcing an idiot to think is a good thing.

Like I said there are valid reasons not to have a bet pot button. However it is a convenience when multi-tabling in a pot limit game. A possible way to avoid some of the negatives would be to have a range of such automatic bets like 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full pot.

I can happily 6-8 table PLO without needing this buttons. Aren't there AHK scripts about for that anyway?

I don't like running scripts, but yes I believe there are and such is discussed frequently in the software forum.
