Re: WoW Questions
[ QUOTE ]
If you want to look at things from a supply:demand point of view in terms of groups, mages are the most wanted of that bunch. [/ QUOTE ] that's because soloing as a mage sucks major ass while soloing as a warlock is a breeze. |

Re: WoW Questions
Mages and warlocks are tons of fun, had both 60s.
Warlocks you get a fun pet all the time and access to some very nice big pets. Mages blink around, have good group attack spells and are needed more than warlocks in groups |

Re: WoW Questions
I had fun playing a Tauren Shaman to 40, mostly because you had lots of options when in a random group (could heal, melee, tank, or projectile IIRC) but two disclaimers:
1) I'm under the impression that because they're such a jack-of-all-trades class AND there were tons of them, they weren't as desireable in higher end raiding groups 2) Lots of this could have changed since I played (haven't played in months) If they're still as powerful as they were though (again, have no clue), I'd suggest them if you're just playing for fun. If you're not planning on going hardcore, getting into raiding guilds, etc then I personally found them fun. They were good (although not the best) at playing solo and very versatile for random groups. Someone else would have to make suggestions for you if you plan to go hardcore though. |

Re: WoW Questions
I am so bored right now. I feel like getting addicted to something..
This sounds good. That said, I need some ideas for a character. I'd like the character that is the absolute easiest character to level. Which character, in general, is the character that will a) level the quickest b) gain competency in PvP the quickest and c) gain competency in PvE grouping/dungeons the quickest. I know a bit about it from people on campus, but I'm not on campus right now, heh. |

Re: WoW Questions
hunter or rogue will level the quickest, with warlock as the third fastest
gaining competency in pvp/pve is hard to judge. if you plan on raiding, it probably won't matter what class you are, you will get loot at about the same rate. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't plan on being hardcore (summer?). It's just that I'd like to minimize my time grinding and not having fun. And if there's a class that does generally better in raids or whatever, maybe a class that guilds want... Of course, I imagine you need to be L60 before doing all of that. |
