Re: a few hands from the nightly hundred grand
4 looks ok to me, way more so than 3.

Re: a few hands from the nightly hundred grand
1 and 4 look fine, though I agree raising more is better, if only because it makes it easier to call a push. Second one is read-dependent if you ask me, but I'm generally cautious of people that put a third of their stack in pre-flop regardless of their position. Third hand is gross. You could raise more and then plan to call a push, but I'd favor just letting the hand go more than anything.

Re: a few hands from the nightly hundred grand
The only one I don't like is 3. Yes, in hand 2 you're often flipping, but there's overlay and sometimes he'll have A2-A6,22-55.

Re: a few hands from the nightly hundred grand
i was meh about 4 because you didn't have a read, so you didn't know he was opening wide on the button, you just re raised last hand so you probably aren't the most credible at the table. I dunno, but i don't think I'm 3betting here unless I'm calling a shove.

Re: a few hands from the nightly hundred grand
bah, i figured an unknown could have a wide range regradless and A9s is too good to fold here(btw we were itm already dunno if this is important or not). of course i was calling a push though in the 4th hand. anyway, he pushed i called and he won with kings.
as for the other hands, hand 1 he folded. hand 2 i was surprised by so many ppl saying fold but i understnad why now, fwiw he folded there to but i guess thats v unlikely in general. 3rd hand he folded as well. thx all v much for responses i really feel like im getting a hang of the tournament mindset. |
