this is obv a value bet

I don't like it then. c/c's three bets with something that doesn't beat QJ? Unless Ivey is calling really lightly, I think a check is better.

dude this is HU between 2 very good aggro players. ivey could [censored] call with ace high here

meh, he had king no kicker and called for just the reason that I was bluffing, if he was a little lighter he'd call also.

Yeah, I guess I'm just being too results orientated. It's hard to make a judgement like I did just looking at one hand.

Jason,

Your game selection is awful since he will play 50/100 or 100/200. Are you drinking or bored or just feeling extra manly pob-style? ;-)

I would almost routinely call Jason with K4 there. Ivey is using a simple rope-a-dope against a hyperaggro opponent. Basic play, nothing more. However, despite it being a big psych jump from K4 to Q9, there aren't a lot of hands in between, so Jason's play is fine provided Ivey's hu preflop distribution does not contract a lot from Kx to Qx, and Ivey believes Jason fires multiple rounds with air routinely. Which is not hard to believe.

Matt

Ivey will call here with many hands worse than QJ. I've seen him call down with 98 on a J9xAx board or so.

yeah, but he only does it when he's right so you can't use that to value bet him.

um... he induced a bluff agianst an aggro player with tp, stassa knows ivey knows he might consider the fact his line looks like air/inducing a bluff and value bets accordingly...
