You need a bigger stack in relation to the raise to squeeze in an online rebuy tournament. This kind of play had a chance to work live.

Also, the early position 5xBB raise is probably AQ-AK, 88-QQ. Raiser is not folding that easily.

Two players invested 1/3 of their stacks. Your push is likely to get two callers.

When people raise 4bb/5bb, i generally don't raise unless i want them to call. Trying to make people fold a hand they raised 4bb is like trying to make people fold overpairs

but I too would like to chime in that this is an easy muck.

The 2:1 pot odds for a caller, the 5bb raise, and the cold call are all indications that this is a spot to just fold and move on to the next hand.

Ok, so no one else takes a 5bb open as weakness?

[/ QUOTE ]
I take it as weakness, as in 55-TT, and AQ+ beeing satisfied with the blinds.

Shaun,
I think this is taking aggressiveness too far personally.

I agree. I also think he has 6-TT way to often here.

Ok, so no one else takes a 5bb open as weakness? The cc isn't a higher enough thinker to cc there with AA/KK. I think the 5bb openeres range is 77 and less and some aces and a lot of middle broadway cards. Even if hes calling me 100% of the time it's +cEV to shove there with the overlay we get from antees and the CC.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think this push (maybe not this one, but other types of spots), if shaun made it, is one of the reasons his ROI is insanely high. 99+ percent of people turbomuck this hand.

maybe I just see really weak hands like 66 or less way too often that are making abnormally large raises PF. I guess you guys are misinterpreting my reasons for squeezing here I expect to get called by PFR A lot and expect to be racing most of the time at a nice 1.5 to 1 overlay.
